On Tuesday, October 29th, 4:30-7:00 pm, a College Fair will be hosted by State Senator Tim Kennedy at the Bennett Community Campus located at 2885 Main Street. Nearly 25 local colleges/universities will talk directly with prospective students about their college career options, financial aid opportunities, transfer eligibility and more. See the flyer here:

This past year we have been able to recruit 2 high schoolers to help with our mobile vermicompost outreach. It’s one of the ways Pelion/CHS can get into enviro-fairs and schools to educate about healthy soil, invite people to Pelion, and encourage them to volunteer with us.

We need another 1-2 students on the team so that we can capture more events and maintain continuity as students graduate or become busy with other activities.

Often times these outreach events coincide with Saturday workshops or volunteer sessions we have scheduled at Pelion and Ms. Caesandra cannot supervise both locations so we are seeking students that are mature, responsible, and not afraid of the worms or meeting humans of all ages.

Interested 9-12th graders should contact Ms. Caesandra directly via email or txt 716-803-5566

CHS is currently searching for a school typist!
