These are classic varsity jackets that are fully lined. They are either all-wool or wool with gray leather sleeves. The jackets have a CHS logo on the left chest and, for an additional charge for each, you may add customized embroidery such as student name, school name on back, and activity. We have several sample jackets in the store for sizing. Since this is a custom order, all jackets must be paid in full at the time of the order. Jackets take approximately 8 weeks to be delivered.

America Recycles Day!

Communities all over the country are pledging to recycle more and divert usable materials from landfills. Our school-garden benefits from your mobile e-junk recycling if you bring your devices and ink cartridges (we especially LOVE large printer and copier toner cartridges!) to the dropbox outside the main office at CHS and/or The FOUNDry at 298 Northampton St. In addition, on Saturday, November 14, The FOUNDry and other local organizations are hosting a Toolraiser, encouraging families to recycle other materials at one convenient location. Bicycles, DIY/yard tools, used clothing and mobile e-junk will be accepted from Noon-4 PM. Pelion will be there to receive other garden-related materials–feel free to drop off BoxTops and Labels for Education as well!

New No-Cost Way to Help CHS

Do you plan on shopping online this holiday season? Would you like a simple, no-cost way to support City Honors School and the Pelion Community Garden? We hope you answered yes to both of these questions because the school receives needed funds when supporters shop online at their favorite retailers as long as they click through the eScrip Online Mall. The websites of over 800 popular retailers are included in the program, including favorites such as The Gap, eBay, the Apple Store, Walmart, Banana Republic, Bass Pro, Best Buy, Crate and Barrel, Macy’s and Barnes and Noble.
